Design Challenge is now open for entries; $5,000 in prizes available

 

Join our annual celebration of creativity and ingenuity by participating in one – or all – of these exciting making activities!

 

      1. Design Challenge: Closed December 7th
        Challengers compete for more than $5,000 in prizes by creating a unique innovation and submitting a 3 minute video explaining your creation and the making process.

         

      2. 3D Design and 3D Printing Workshop: November 30 (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
        Participants learned to use popular computer-aided-design (CAD) software to create a unique design, and 3D printed it at RCBI! This free workshop is complete, but scroll down for more opportunities to connect, learn, and MAKE!

         

      3. 2D Design and Laser Cutting Workshop: December 4 (10 a.m. to noon)
        Participants learned to use popular computer-aided-design (CAD) software to create a unique design, laser cut at RCBI! This free workshop made for the perfect opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind holiday gift.

         

      4. Design Thinking Demo and Awards Presentation: Dec. 9 (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.)
        Join Tricia Ball of Marshall University’s iCenter for a short introduction to this hands-on, collaborative approach to problem-solving and creativity. Then stick around as we award more than $5,000 in prizes to the winners of our Design Challenge. Click below to find out how to tune-in…!
