C. I. Thornburg Co., Inc. (CITCO) provides whole sale delivery and engineering services for municipal water and waste water companies and authorities throughout West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee. The company was founded by Charles Irving Thornburg in 1931 in Huntington, West Virginia. In 1958, with the help of six of his friends and business associates, a young engineer, E. Webster “Web” Morrison, purchased the company from Thornburg. Over the last 50 years, the company has remained family-owned and operated. It has grown to include over 100 employees and five full service branches, which serve the municipal water and wastewater industry in all of West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and southern Ohio. While we have grown, our customers remain our top priority!
