Laboratory Technician
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
- Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position.
- Experience in operating laboratory equipment and handling potentially dangerous substances.
- In depth knowledge of QHSE Systems, Quality Management Systems.
- Ability to utilize computers and technology efficiently: MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
- Chemical plant experience preferred.
- ISO 9001 experience preferred.
Benefit package includes: medical, dental, vision, HRA, short-term/long term disability, life insurance: $13,000-$35,000 paid by company, 8 paid holidays, paid vacation and 401k + matching and profit sharing: 3 percent of base salary.

Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Lab Technician to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures. You will be handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples and conducting tests, reporting findings to a laboratory manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with hazardous chemicals. He/She will be well-trained to maintain safe operating conditions and motivated for doing work that makes things move forward. Also, performing daily experiments and routine QC analytical tests for both in-process and final product analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness.
- Receive, label, and analyze samples.
- Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and retain samples.
- Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy.
- Maintain proper stock of laboratory reagents and other supplies.
- Ensure adequacy and accuracy of analytical equipment by performing routine performance checks, calibration checks and calibrations.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are strictly followed at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Perform all laboratory activities in accordance with internal management system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
