Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree as well as strong research skills is required. The ability to work on several projects at once on tight deadlines; program design and development, and creative problem solving are required. Some travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English or similar field is preferred. Preferred skills for this position also include previous grant writing and reporting experience, excellent written and verbal expression, grant administration and evaluation.
Responsibilities: This position requires a highly motivated, energetic individual equally capable of working independently or in team settings while seeking and/or developing grant opportunities, marketing, researching, and drafting grant applications and reports, and completing a plethora of grant writing resolutions such as white papers, requests for proposals/qualifications, etc. Grant writer is required to maintain grant reporting schedules and to keep other staff regularly apprised of deadlines while also assisting with drafting and submitting reports.
