Machinist Technology/CNC: Machinists are involved in making almost every object you see – from nuts and bolts to clothing and furniture to car engines and airplanes. Learn how to use high-tech machines to turn raw materials into precise pieces in our program recognized by the National Institute for Metalworking Skills. Welding Technology: Welders are among the most in-demand occupations. Learn how to weld using a variety of welders and materials and earn American Welding Society certifications in the process. Visit the Welding Technology page for more information or to enroll.

Both programs feature hands-on practical experiences in a shop environment, guided by instructors who are certified in their fields.

Complete additional college requirements to earn a Certificate of Applied Science or an Associate of Applied degree Science through our partnership with Mountwest Community and Technical College.

The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center’s career skills programs are funded, in part, through $2.39 million Manufacturing, Aviation and Construction Skills Training Project, with $1,499,410 in funding from the U.S. Department of Labor  – Employment and Training Administration. The other $890,256 is from non-federal resources.
