Free two- to three-week introductions to manufacturing for high school students from Boone, Clay, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln and Putnam counties. These pre-apprenticeships in machining, welding and 3D printing take place at the Robert C. Byrd Institute’s Advanced Manufacturing Education & Training Center in South Charleston.
