Fundamentals of SolidWorks
This course will cover the use of SolidWorks mechanical design software to build parametric models of parts and how to make drawings of those parts. It will cover basic through advanced design concepts including sketching, basic part modeling, revolved and extruded features and editing of these models. An introduction to assembly modeling including the bottom-up assembly modeling concept will be provided.

An overview of CAD software designed to familiarize participants with the capabilities and features of AutoCAD as well as highlight its advantages versus manual drafting. The course is designed to help with CAD/ CAM software selection as well as serve as a precursor to other related hands-on training.
