Innovate WV
Registration is now open for a new initiative designed to help entrepreneurs, small businesses and manufacturers get their products to market.
The initiative, called Innovate WV, will provide technical assistance — including design and development, rapid prototyping and reverse engineering services — through the Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing (RCBI).
Funded in part through the U. S. Economic Development Administration (EDA), the initiative is part of the West Virginia EDA University Center partnership among RCBI, Marshall University and Concord University. Innovate WV is intended to help create and encourage business opportunities, strengthen entrepreneurship and generate jobs across southern West Virginia, especially in the technology-based manufacturing sector of the economy.
Please click on the link below to complete the Innovate WV registration form and submit it to the review committee for the first phase of funding, which ends April 16, 2012. The selection process is ongoing. Levels of assistance provided will vary based on project requirements.
For more information, call 800.469.RCBI (7224) or e-mail InnovateWV@rcbi.org.
