This course begins with an overview on the background and development of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard. Participants then undertake an in-depth review of the requirements of the ISO 14001 Standard, including benefits of implementing an Environmental Management System. Guidance is provided on identifying environmental aspects and impacts and setting objectives and targets.

This course begins with an overview on the background and development of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard. Participants then undertake an in-depth review of the requirements of the ISO 14001 Standard, including benefits of implementing an Environmental Management System. Guidance is provided on identifying environmental aspects and impacts and setting objectives and targets. The course shows how the Environmental Management System Standard can be integrated with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard, as many of the requirements are the same. The registration process is also discussed.
