RCBI Honors Boone County Man
A Boone County man, Steven E. Parsons, of Ashford, has been selected as Employee of the Month for October at the Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing, RCBI Director & CEO Charlotte Weber announced today.
Parsons is a Production Engineer/CNC Machinist at the RCBI Charleston Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center.
“Steve is a helpful member of our RCBI team,” Ms. Weber said. “We feel fortunate to have him assisting manufacturers on our shop floor in Charleston.”
A native of Ashford, he graduated from Sherman High School in 1994 and has been employed by RCBI for the past two years. Previously, he was with Parsons Machine from 1996 to 2008.
He and his wife, Carla, have two children, Tyler and Hannah Parsons. In his spare time, he enjoys boating and devoting time to family activities.
