The focus will be on introducing the participants to MasterCAM, a Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software. Using its interactive graphical interface, students will learn how to create geometry in MasterCAM or transfer it from a CAD package, how to set up tools and related information, design tool paths, and how to use graphical simulation functions for visual verification before generating machine code.
