CASE STUDY Composites Training
Basic CMM Operation & Programming Training. This course covers inspection using a CMM. It provides hands-on demonstration of CMM setup, initialization and operation. It also covers basic features of Virtual DMIS software that is used to program the CMM for inspection of basic 2D and 3D features including, Geometric Tolerancing such True Position measurments. Importing CAD model and CAD-to-part alignment is covered. The course covers the essential aspects of the software and CMM operation, using a sample part for hands-on practice. One or more days may be added on request to allow participants the opportunity to reinforce their hands-on skills using their own parts.
