Marshall University gives Scouts a look at virtual technology, 3-D printing

Scouts attending this week’s 2013 National Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve are getting the opportunity to explore state-of-the-art virtual technology and 3-D printing, thanks to Marshall University’s engineering and advanced manufacturing programs.

The New 5-year Coordinated STEM Education Strategic Plan

The White House has presented to Congress a new 5-year strategic plan for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. The President’s plan proposes a consolidation of several STEM programs throughout the federal government to improve and increase STEM education.
