This course is designed for individuals who want to learn manufacturing practices and proper quality assurance techniques. It is useful for manufacturing engineers and planners, supervisors and those with regulatory roles. Emphasis is placed on manufacturing, planning and fabrication of fiberglass, carbon, Kevlar® and honeycomb core panels using cleanroom, autoclave and oven for processing along with proper tools for trimming and hole making. Adhesive bonding and fastening is discussed.

Prerequisite: Composites Fabrication and Repair - Level 1 or equivalent experience and knowledge in advanced composites.
