Hybrid apprenticeship offers flexibility to manufacturers

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has approved the first hybrid apprenticeship model developed by Apprenticeship Works, the National Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship Partnership at the Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI).

"This is an exciting time to be graduating with an education in machining from a nationally certified machine technology program. The coal industry is back on the rise and will stabilize, the oil and gas industry will continue to grow, the power sector will have growth, and the aviation sector will have rapid growth over the next three to five years.
