May 7, 2015
BRIDGEPORT — The Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing (RCBI) is hosting a “lunch and learn” event for entrepreneurs or businesses that want to know more about using 3D Printing.
3D Printing technology produces end-use parts as well as prototypes for companies that serve markets ranging from aerospace, medical devices and transportation to the arts, architecture and tourism.
The event is noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, May 28, at RCBI Bridgeport, 2400 E. Benedum Industrial Drive, just off Route 50 in the Industrial Park adjacent to the North Central West Virginia Airport.
Representatives from the aerospace and defense leader Orbital ATK will join RCBI staff to discuss how this innovative technology is being used in the workplace.
