Event to Focus on Putting 3D Printing to Work

HUNTINGTON — The Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing (RCBI) is hosting a “lunch and learn” event for businesses that want to know more about using 3D Printing.
3D Printing technology produces end-use parts as well as prototypes for companies that serve markets ranging from aerospace, medical devices and transportation to the arts, architecture and tourism.
The event is noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, April 23, at RCBI Huntington, 1050 Fourth Ave. Representatives from industry and RCBI will be on hand to discuss how this innovative technology is being used in the workplace.
