RCBI to honor graduates, connect them to job opportunities

RCBI will honor nearly 40 graduates of its programs in the in-demand fields of machinist technology/CNC and welding May 9 during ceremonies at its Huntington Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center.

In addition, RCBI will bring introduce the graduates to prospective employers during a reverse job fair preceding the graduation ceremony. Students will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with industry representatives from across the region who are hiring.

 “Not only are we committed to providing the quality training to develop the skilled workers industry demands, but we’re committed to assisting our graduates secure jobs,” said Charlotte Weber, RCBI Director & CEO. “With our help, more than 90 percent of our machinist graduates find employment in their chosen fields.”

 The reverse job fair will begin at 4 p.m. followed at 5 p.m. by the graduation ceremony. Students from across West Virginia and from southern Ohio will be honored. They are:
