Jane Bostic, Director of the Accelerate Forward WV program at the Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI), has been selected as Co-Chair of the Charleston.
The new organization will cultivate and advance programs, events and a community to support female leadership development and business growth. In this role Ms. Bostic will team with Co-Chair Danielle Waltz of the Jackson Kelly Charleston office. Both Ms. Bostic and Ms. Waltz possess extensive experience with state agencies and business organizations including the Appalachian Regional Council Tourism Advisory Committee and the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
“Because of Jane’s daily efforts to increase entrepreneurship and encourage use of innovative tools and skills training at RCBI, we’re excited that she’s going to apply her same proven focus to shape and encourage women’s successes,” said Charlotte Weber, RCBI Director & CEO.
Ms. Bostic, who attended the University of Maine and received Travel Marketing Specialist certification from Southeast Tourism Society, previously served as Public Information Director for the West Virginia Division of Tourism, promoting West Virginia as a premier travel destination.
