RCBI Hosts Roundtable Luncheon to Discuss Manufacturers’ Needs
BRIDGEPORT, WV -- The Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing (RCBI) is hosting a roundtable luncheon to address efforts necessary to continue to meet industry’s needs. The luncheon is scheduled Tuesday November 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bridgeport Conference Center at Charles Pointe (300 Conference Center Way).
RCBI’s experienced staff members will be on hand to discuss equipment, technology and training needs, according to RCBI Director and CEO Charlotte Weber. Ms. Weber said the event is open to the public and lunch will be provided.
“This forum will provide manufacturers and entrepreneurs the opportunity to present firsthand their needs and interests in the innovative, cutting edge technologies and technical training requirements that will help them remain productive and successful,” Ms. Weber said.
Celebrating 20 years of service, RCBI provides access to cutting edge technology and technical training initiatives to manufacturers across the region. Operating Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centers in Huntington, Charleston, Bridgeport and Rocket Center (near Keyser in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle), its mission includes developing a quality, just-in-time supplier base for the Department of Defense, NASA and the commercial sector.
