W.Va. businesses encouraged to take survey
West Virginia businesses are invited to participate in the national Small Business Credit Survey administered by the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States.
The survey is open to businesses with up to 500 employees. Now through December 8, 2017, participants may participate in the survey by visiting www.WVSBDC.com/resources.
“Understanding the needs of small businesses is critical to our work,” said Erika Bailey, State Director of the West Virginia Small Business Development Center (WV SBDC). “That’s why the Federal Reserve is asking SBDCs and other organizations to help spread the word and encourage business owners to take the survey."
The survey takes an estimated nine minutes to complete and asks small business owners about their current business climate, financing needs and recent credit experiences. Individual survey results are confidential. The survey summary creates a real-time snapshot of the financing needs and performance of small businesses across the country and helps business service providers and leaders understand real-time business conditions.
The WV SBDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the SBA and is an Accredited Member of America’s SBDC network. For more information on WV SBDC and its services, visit www.wvsbdc.com.
