Introduction to CNC (Tue. 17 Apr, 2018 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

RCBI is offering a special evening course for machinists who want to improve their skills in CNC. This course will introduce the individual to basic CNC operation and programming with hands-on shop experience. The application of basic machining will be stressed with focus on CNC turning and milling. G- and M-code and IGF programming will be used as well as introduction to CAD/CAM programming with MasterCAM. The classes are from 5- 8 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning April 17. Internal Auditor Training (Wed. 25 Apr, 2018 8:30 am - Thu. 26 Apr, 2018 4:30 pm)

This course provides the necessary skills to conduct an effective internal audit. ISO 9001 recommends the use of a process approach (i.e. plan, do, check, act) when implementing the clauses of the Quality Management System Standard. This same method and the links between the clauses are used in developing audit trails and conducting internal audits that yield the most value to the organization. Exporting Workshop (Thu. 26 Apr, 2018 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm)

The Robert C. Byrd Institute in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Commercial Service, the International Trade Division of the West Virginia Development Office and Discover the Real West Virginia Foundation will offer an exporting workshop in Huntington.
